Obituary

Aaron Alvin Baldwin, age 95, of Jefferson City formerly of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at The Neighborhoods Care and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia.  He was born in The Dalles, Oregon on December 16, 1926, son of the late Alvin and Dorothy (Filly) Baldwin.  On September 26, 1954, in Sutherlin, Oregon, Aaron was united in marriage to Loretta Emma Jenkins, who preceded him in death on November 14, 2006.

Aaron honorably served in the U.S. Navy for two years and later served in the U.S. Air Force earning the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.  During his esteemed military career, he fought in WWII, and Vietnam, earning numerous medals and awards.

Aaron was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson City, St. Anthony Knights of Columbus, Iberia VFW Post 6167, and American Legion Post 105.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Raymond of Jefferson City and Tabitha (Baldwin) Osborne of Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Emma Raymond, David Raymond, and Mary Beth Clark; and numerous family and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his son, Donald Baldwin, and daughter, Joyce Clark.

A private service with military honors will be held in Madden Cemetery near Iberia.
