Alan Werdehausen, age 49, of Meta, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at his home. He was born in Jefferson City on April 24, 1965, son of the late Vincent and Rose Marie (Schneider) Werdehausen.
Alan was employed with Quaker Windows since 1984 and also administered Hunter Safety Courses. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting, fishing, and riding his ATV.
Alan was a past member of the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus #2149.
He is survived by one brother, Thomas Werdehausen and wife Kathy of Meta; five sisters, Margaret McKinney & husband Mitch of Dixon, Mary Stark and husband Richard of Meta, Mildred Luebbert and husband Larry of Linn, Irene Werdehausen of Jefferson City, and Valerie Schaben and husband Jeff of Folk; nieces and nephews, Crystal Werdehausen, Amber McCracken, Dustin Werdehausen, Michelle McKinney, Brandon McKinney, Jason Kolb, Ashley Wolf, Derek Kolb, Michael Werdehausen, Tala Schaben, Jessica Chambers, and Christopher Luebbert; and ten great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Doris Kolb.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Fr. Jeremy Sercrist will officiate. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery in Meta.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 30, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Alan Werdehausen Memorial Fund.
