Albert Ray Graham, age 69, of Tuscumbia, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at his home. He was born in Waynesville, on January 16, 1942, son of the late Raymond and Leahetta (McCommons) Graham. On April 15, 1978, in Tuscumbia, Albert married Evelyn F. Burks, who preceded him in death on December 7, 2009.
Albert worked at Stanton and Pryor Novelty until his retirement. He enjoyed going to baseball and basketball games and races with family and friends. Albert was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ulman.
He is survived by two brothers, Harold Graham and wife Mary Jane of Russellville and Gary Graham and wife Kay of Ulman; one sister, Rayma Flaugher and husband Jesse of Tuscumbia; a special sister-in-law, Gayla Luttrell and husband James of Tuscumbia; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m., on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Charles Worstell and Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Tuscumbia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 18, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
