Alexis Jeanee Ward, age 2, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, February 10, 2008, at University Hospital and Clinics. She was born at Lake Regional Hospital on September 19, 2005, a daughter of James Herbert and Jennifer Renee Ward, who survive at the home.

Others who survive her include: one brother, Chevy Paul Ward of the home; maternal grandparents, William and Tammie Luttrell of Iberia; maternal great grandparents, Roy Crockett of Eldon and Ruth Luttrell of Iberia; paternal grandparents, Howard Ward of Tuscumbia and Rose Ward of Ackworth, Iowa and numerous aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Her maternal great grandparents, Norma Crockett and Vernon Luttrell and paternal great grandparents, James and Alpha Reeves and Joe and Viola Ward, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, February 15, with services immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Pastor Brian Jarrett and Pastor Dennis Nichols will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Tuscumbia.
