Alice Jean Wooldridge, age 78, of Chilhowee, died Monday, October 13, 2008, at her home. She was born on August 20, 1930, in Iberia, daughter of Milton and Opal (Duncan) Luttrell. On February 24, 1962, in Miami Oklahoma, she was married to Clinton Prather Wooldridge, who survives at the home.
She was a member of the Chilhowee Baptist Church and a past member of Anchor Point Baptist Church for thirty-five years.
Other survivors include one son, Mike Osborn and wife Jolene of Blue Springs; two daughters, Kathy Hill and husband Mike of Chilhowee and Michelle Wooldridge-Higgins and husband Jesse of Chilhowee; two stepdaughters, Brenda Willcockson of Chilhowee and Barbara Mullen and husband Terry of Clinton; twelve grandchildren, Kerri Atwood, Kelli Lewis, Brandon Hill, Nicholas Hill, Brittanie Hill, Cody Wooldridge, Travis Warlen, Lisa Dale, Lori Packham, Jennifer Heyer, Joshua Willcockson, and Justin Willcockson; twelve great-grandchildren; six sisters, Dorlas Gilliam, Lois Pemberton, Rosemary Douglas, Shirley Smith, Patsy Rodden, and Karen Barnett; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Opal Luttrell; an infant sister, Joyce Luttrell; and a sister, Bonnie Smith.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Ronnie Hicks will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at the funeral home.
