Allen R. Butrick, age 42, of Iberia, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010. He was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, on October 21, 1967, son of Woodrow Butrick and Beverly Harkleroad.
Allen attended Curry Church near Iberia.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Plemmons; two sons, Allen Plemmons and Andrew Plemmons both of the home; father, Woodrow Butrick and wife Rose of Hancock; mother Beverly Harkleroad and husband Dennis of Hartstown, Pennsylvania; one brother, Woodrow D. Butrick Jr. of Springfield; two sisters, Barbie Dail of Summerfield, Florida and Dorothy Williams of Lady Lake, Florida; and two step-brothers, John Cochran of Minnesota and David Cochran of Rolla.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Virgil Dennis will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Allen Butrick Memorial Fund.
