Allison Hedgpeth, age 60, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at her home.  She was born in Vancouver, Canada, daughter of the late Petar Georgive and Daphany Rose (Kaufman) Uzunov.  On August 26, 1985, in the state of California, Allison was united in marriage to Michael Bruce Hedgpeth, who preceded her in death on January 3, 1994.

Allison "The Bulldog Lady" cherished animals of all kinds and had a special place in her heart for dogs.  She was very involved in the pet industry and owned and operated a canine kennel in the Iberia area for 30 years. Allison worked at Iberia R-V as a special education teacher and bus driver, touching countless lives during her career.

She enjoyed cooking and took great pride in her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the biggest joy in life.  Allison made friends all over the country and her spitfire attitude will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jesse Hedgpeth and wife Brittani; two granddaughters, Lexi Hedgpeth and Cali Hedgpeth; sister, Susan Uzunov; brother, Peter Uzunov and wife Valerie; nieces and nephews, Raymond, Reina, and Ramilio; her best friend, Tammy Eidson; and loved ones who she thought of as family, Kenda and Robin Humphrey, their children Kenzie (Elijah Pritchett) and Danny, Chris and Keisha Hyde and their children, Kasen, Kohlsen, and Brody, and Sarah Stokes and her son, Collin.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life honoring Allison at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 26, at Allison's home, 143 Highway EE, Iberia, Missouri 65486.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Iberia Fellowship Hall.
