Obituary
Amanda Dawn Bax, age 38, of Hazelwood, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017, at SSM Health Depaul Hospital in St. Louis. She was born in Osage Beach on July 28, 1979, daughter of Gene Bax and Dawn (Helton) Blalock.
She is survived by her mother, Dawn Blalock and husband Randy of Eldon; her father, Gene Bax and wife Cindy of Ulman; four children, Skyler Bax of Ulman, Chasten Bax of Cameron, Dallas Bax of Lake Ozark, and Alexis Bax of Macks Creek; one granddaughter, Josie of Eldon; four sisters, Angie Davis and husband Layne of Macks Creek, Mariah Stark of Eldon, Crystal Nanez and husband Isaiah of Eldon, and Christina Blalock of Eldon; one brother, Boone Bax of Ulman; three nieces, Trinity, Nevaeh, and Paris; grandfather, Larry Helton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Wanda Cheever and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Rita Bax.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon), with a memorial service immediately following at noon, on Friday, August 11, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Homes in Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Amanda Bax Memorial Fund.
