Angela Linn Pemberton, age 44, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinic in Columbia. She was born in Tuscumbia on June 21, 1971, daughter of Doyle and Lemoine (Copeland) Veasman. On November 24, 1990, in Iberia, Angela married Edward Pemberton, who survives at the home.

Angela was a 1989 graduate of Iberia High School. After graduation Angela worked at the Miller County Assessor's office for 5 years. For the past 18 years she has been employed at the Department of Natural Resources in Jefferson City.

Angela was a member of Mason Ridge Community Church.

In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by two sons, Matthew Pemberton and Nathan Pemberton both of Iberia; parents, Doyle Veasman and Lemoine Lawson; father and mother-in-law, Eddie and Vicki Pemberton; one brother, Brian Veasman and wife Marisa of Iberia; two stepbrothers, Matthew Lawson and William Lawson both of Iberia; brother-in-law, Earl Pemberton and wife Trisha of Iberia; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Thompson and husband Davie of Iberia; paternal grandmother, Lois Pemberton of Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Eric Pemberton.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, at Iberia First Baptist Church. Bro. Freddie Earp will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at Iberia First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Angela Pemberton Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
