Anita F. Pearl, age 82, of St. Elizabeth formerly of Iberia, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Care Center. She was born in Miller County on January 18, 1930, daughter of the late Willie H. and Mabel A. (Hickey) Crane.

Anita graduated from St. Elizabeth High School. After graduation she worked as a clerk at the Iberia MFA until she retired. Anita was a member of the Iberia Baptist Church and also attended St. Elizabeth Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Lutz; her grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Billie (Crane) Shipley and Freda Rose (Crane) Oligschlaeger; and one brother, Wayne Shelton Crane.

Visitation will be from 9 to10 a.m., with services immediately following at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Charles LaChance will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
