Ann Agnes Lindenbusch, age 96, of St. Elizabeth, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Care Center. She was born in Osage Bend on August 29, 1912, daughter of Anton and Catherine (Bode) Haselhorst. On June 15, 1946, in Jefferson City, she married Albert H. Lindenbusch, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2007.
Ann was very active in the community, she was a member of St. Ann's Sodality and St. Elizabeth American Legion Auxiliary 545. She was a homemaker and a past CCD teacher. Ann was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.
She is survived by one son, Dan Lindenbusch and wife Jane of St. Thomas; three grandchildren, Susanne Brenneke and husband John of Osage Bend, Amy Lindenbusch of St. Thomas, and Marc Lindenbusch and wife Erin of St. Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Brenneke, Cole Brenneke, Zachary Brenneke, and Hannah Brenneke.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Kathleen Mathilda Lindenbusch.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. Rev. Clarence Wiederholt will officiate. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in St. Elizabeth.
