Ardis Lyons Patterson, age 91, of Iberia, passed away Friday, September 17, 2010, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Brumley on May 25, 1919, daughter of the late John and Wilma Allee. On October 24, 1992, in Kansas City, Kansas, she married Paul Patterson who preceded her in death on February 21, 2002.
Ardis worked for the Sealright Company in Kansas City for over 29 years until her retirement. She attended Good Will Church near Crocker.
She is survived by three sons, Lee Lyons, Larry Lyons, and Lester Lyons all of Kansas City; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James Allee of Eldon and Charles Allee of Brumley.
She was also preceded by two daughters, Fay Breedlove and Donna Lyons.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 noon, on Tuesday, September 21, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery near Brumley
Memorial contributions are suggested to Good Will Church.
