Arthur "Jerry" Hodge, age 71, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020, at his home. He was born in Tuscumbia on November 20, 1948, son of the late Arthur W. Hodge and Inez Marie (Farrow) Hodge.

Arthur served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on April 27, 1970. He worked in the charcoal kilns and for Wieberg Ready Mix. Arthur was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming.

He is survived by three sons, Cody Hodge (Kammy), Chuck Hodge, and Chad Hodge (Tabby); Samantha Vanostran (Matt); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Bill Hodge (Rosie), Roy "Pete" Hodge (Margaret), Carl Hodge, and Paul Hodge (Becky); and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carles Hodge and Bud Hodge and two sisters, Rhonda and Josie.

Celebration of Life with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 31, at Dake Cemetery near Iberia.
