Obituary

Artie "Bud" Reinhart, age 88, of Waynesville, formerly of Brumley, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Life Care Center of Waynesville. He was born in Brumley on March 19, 1921, son of the late Sylvester Ingram and Celia Elizabeth (Duncan) Reinhart. On September 30, 1943, in Brumley, Artie married Gypsy Berlyn Brumley, who preceded him in death on January 11, 1983.

He was employed at Charger Boat Craft in Richland for over 30 years until his retirement. Artie attended Mt. Union Church of Christ, Curry Church, and Crocker Church of Christ.

He is survived by one son, Jerry Reinhart and wife JoAnn of Swedeborg; three daughters, Brenda Pinkley and husband Doug of Clever, Reta Morrow and husband Bill of Richland, and Ronda Deardorff and husband Dan of Waynesville; 10 grandchildren, Cory Rowden, Ross Reinhart, Chris Reinhart, Jamie Rodden, Sherrice Farrow, Anthony Burton, Bill Morrow, Tabitha Bumanglag, Dana Mead, and Josh Reinhart; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Jo Shelton and husband Glen of Brumley and Louevenia Davenport of Brumley.

He was also preceded in death by seven sisters, his twin sister Artis, Zilphia, Clara, Loraine, Winifred, Alena, and Christina.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with services immediately following at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. David Brown will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
