Barbara A. (Thomas) Handel, age 66, of Eldon, died Friday, July 25, 2008, at her home. She was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on July 31, 1941, a daughter of the late Jack Thomas and Mary (Atkins) Bosco.
Those who survive her include: Seven children, Mary Jane Handel of Eldon, Ricky Lee Handel of Wasilla, Alaska, Helen Marie Tedder of Eldon, Robert Paul Handel of Eldon, George John Handel of Puyallup, Washington, Charles Alex Handel Puckett of Snoqualmie, Washington and Richard Gary Handel Puckett, Jr. of Seneca; 19 grandchildren, Connie Lynn, Ryen Marie, Rachael Ann and Terry Ray Handel, Amber DeeAnn McClintock, Nathan Tyler, Brandon Lee, George John Jr. and Larry Gordon Handel, Donavan Pierce, Deidra Alex, Danielle Elisabeth, Derrick Thomas, Amber Diann, Richard Austin, Ethan Scott, Isaiah Matthew, Megan Rose and Aaliyah Marie Puckett; five great grandchildren, Abigail Thompson, Bryanna Walters, Danica McClintock, Jadelyn McClintock and Eddie McClintock III and one brother, Danny Joe Bosco of Cannon City, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at First Baptist Church in Eldon. Rev. Daniel Popovich will officiate.
