Benjamin "B.J." Davis, age 60, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at his home. He was born in Tuscumbia on April 5, 1959, son of Robert Lee and Geneva Maxine (Zelsdorf) Davis.

In addition to owning his own floral shop, B.J. worked for many facilities including the Lodge of Four Seasons, Disney Company, Yankee Peddler Tea Room, Inn at Grand Glaze, and Basket and Bows. He was exceptionally active in the community and was a member of many organizations including the Eastern Star Success Chapter 87 of Richland, Order of Amaranth, Iberia Masonic Lodge No. 410, and served as President of both the Iberia Community Club and Friendship Hall Board. He was a devoted member of Iberia First Christian Church.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine Davis of Iberia; sister, Vicki Baucom and husband Cliff of Iberia; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Rader (Mike), Angela Rowden (Trampus), Jason Davis (Kendra), Troy Albrecht (Brandy), Rebecca Hughes (Kraig), and Shawn Baumgartner; and several great-nieces and nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Davis; grandparents; and one brother, Roger Davis.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with fraternal services commencing at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral ceremony, on Saturday, November 23, at Iberia First Christian Church with Bro. William Thompson and Bro. Stan Way officiating. Interment will be held in Iberia Cemetery.
