Bernard “Ben” John Voss, age 87, of St. Anthony, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Arrowhead Senior Living Center in Osage Beach. He was born in St. Anthony on May 2, 1939, son of the late John and Antonette “Nettie” (Lindenbusch) Voss. On November 25, 1961, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Ben was united in marriage to Genevieve Ann Herx, who preceded him in death on September 12, 2010.

Ben honorably served in the United States Army. After working for several years at MFA in Iberia, Ben was employed by Westinghouse until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and attending tractor pulls, and he was a dedicated member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

He is survived by three children, Cindy Ward of Jefferson City, Travis Voss of St. Anthony, and Spencer Voss of St. Anthony; four grandchildren, Sarah Lovicott of Rosebud, Texas, Renee Otto of Goodyear, Arizona, Dylan Voss of St. Anthony, and Shayli Voss of St. Anthony; four great-grandchildren, Lane Lovicott, Scarlett Lovicott, Mable Lovicott and Kai Hannah; brother, Mark Voss; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to his parents and loving wife, Genevieve Voss, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jerome Voss, Urban Voss, Paul Voss, and Charles Voss; and sister, Mary Murray.

A rosary will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony with Fr. Christopher Aubuchon officiating. Inurnment will be held in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Masses.
