Betty L. Greenleaf, age 78, of Eldon, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Lake Regional Hospital. She was born in Rochester, New York on August 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ada (Haite) Carlton. On July 20, 1990, in Camdenton, she was married to Warren Greenleaf, who preceded her in death in November 1996.

Those who survive her include: five children, Kathy Bock and husband Harold of Rockford, Illinois, Debbie Lyons and husband Gary of Camdenton, Sharon Hook of Eldon, Laurie Risse of Branson and Steven Hook of Eldon; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one brother, Jerry Carlton of Rochester, New York.

One son, Tom Hook; two grandchildren, Clarence Carl Beach, Jr. and Tommy Hook; one sister, Dorothy Caswell and four brothers, Herbert, Lloyd, Richard and Marvin Carlton, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, with services immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Pastor Mike Duncan will officiate. Interment will be held in Greenmore Memorial Gardens near Barnett.
