Betty Jeanette Roark, age 78, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Villisca, Iowa on June 22, 1937, daughter of the late Abrem and Ruby Sarah (Pettengill) Hendry. On June 22, 1956, in Lake Ozark, Betty married Bobby Lee Roark, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2011.

Betty was a member of Fairview Christian Church in Iberia.

She is survived by two sons, Mitch Roark and wife Donna and Scott Roark and wife Shawn both of Iberia; nine grandchildren, Heather Carmack and husband Kevin, Holly Irwin, Wendy Rains and husband Scotty, Rodney Roark and wife Heidi, Cora Roark, Chelsie Deardeuff and husband John, Haley Musick and husband Ethan, Zach Roark, and Maycee Roark; 12 great-grandchildren and one due in August; and one sister, Doris Abbett Hickey.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Bobbie Jeanette Wilson and two brothers, Dick and Bud Hendry.

Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Elton Dake will officiate. Interment will be in Livingston Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, at the funeral home.
