Betty J. Robertson, age 89, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. She was born in Iberia on November 18, 1923, daughter of the late John and Lena (Martin) Heltzell. On August 15, 1942, in Tuscumbia, Betty married Kleo Robertson, who survives at the home.
Betty was a member of Iberia First Christian Church.
She is also survived by three children, Dwight Robertson and wife Christi of Iberia, David Robertson and wife Deirdre of Iberia, and Julia Monroe and husband Kelly of Kansas City; six grandchildren, Steve Robertson of Brumley, Nichole Stephens of Osage Beach, Natasha Herbert of Grain Valley, Austin Robertson of Springfield, Tyler Robertson of Carlsbad, California, and Josh Monroe of Kansas City; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patsy Law of Seguine, Texas, Roberta "Bobby" Pemberton of Iberia, and Laura Jo Phillips of Kansas City; and one sister-in-law, Lucille Steen of Iberia.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, at Iberia First Christian Church. Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 14, at Iberia First Christian Church.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center.
