Betty Lou Schulze, age 85, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at her home.  She was born in St. Louis, on March 3, 1938, daughter of the late John and Ida (Brumell) Lovell.

She is survived by her partner, James Salmas; three children, Charles (Janet) Cross, Mary Carver, and Ida (Preston) Lucero; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosemary Grady.

She was preceded in death by four children.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
