Bonnie Pendleton, age 83, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Iberia on December 21, 1935, daughter of the late Joe and Mary (Duncan) Dake. On December 26, 1953, Bonnie married Myrl Pendleton, who survives at their home.

Bonnie loved spending time with kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. She also loved fishing and putting puzzles together. She was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ in Iberia.

In addition to her husband, Myrl, Bonnie is also survived by her son, Alan Pendleton of Iberia and daughter, Sherry Thompson and husband Phil of Iberia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie was one of 13 children, Myrel, Rosa, Robert, Donna, Pauline, Barb, Floyd, Darrell, Ritchie, Mary Sue, Beverly, and Becky.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Murray, son, Randy Pendleton, and grandson, Joshua Murray.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 5 p.m., on Sunday, August 4, at Iberia Church of Christ in Iberia with Bro. Rick Pitchford officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Alder Springs Cemetery near Iberia.
