Bonnie June Prater, age 81, of Osage Beach, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at her home. She was born in Acorn on June 20, 1935, daughter of the late Corwin "Pepper" and Ruby (Gwaultney) Martin.

Bonnie attended Curry Community Church near Iberia and Osage Hills Baptist Church in Osage Beach.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Prater and wife Vicky of Iberia and Dan Prater and wife Edda of Ozark; one step-daughter, Lois Vaughan and husband Darrel of Maryland Heights; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ron Martin and wife Sharon of St. Louis and one sister, Gloria Day of Naylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max Prater; one granddaughter, Cassie Vaughan; and one brother, Allen Martin.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Wednesday, June 29, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. John Book will officiate. Interment will be held in Bethany Cemetery near Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
