Brenda Lee (Woodruff) Skouby, age 84, of Columbia formerly of Iberia, passed away peacefully at home with family on July 11, 2025.  Brenda was born on October 2, 1940, to Howard and Vera (Lease) Woodruff.  On June 14, 1959, Brenda married Eric W. "Bill" Skouby, who preceded her in death on September 9, 2012.

Brenda was a homemaker and X-ray technician specializing in mammography.  She was a dedicated member of the Iberia United Methodist Church, and avid quilter but mostly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her sister, Paige Baumgartner (Harold) of Belle; brother-in-law, Delford Buehrlen; her son, Earnest Skouby; daughter-in-law, Jean of Holt Summit; daughter Linda Skouby and granddaughter Amelia of Columbia, granddaughter Ali (Marion Capehart) of Jefferson City and adoptive great-grandchildren Emma and Oliver.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Vera Woodruff, one sister, Bobbie Jo Buehrlen, her husband, Bill Skouby, and daughter Erica Skouby.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a Memorial Service immediately following at 2 p.m., on Friday, July 18, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Ben Bermark officiating.
