Brent Douglas Piggott, age 26, of Iberia, died Friday, June 9, 2006, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Jefferson City on September 12, 1979, son of James A. and Andrea Kay (Sisco) Piggott.
He was a 1997 graduate of Iberia High School where he was active in baseball and basketball. He was a member of the Iberia Masonic Lodge #410 AF and AM and the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple in Springfield. He loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his father, Jimmy Piggott of Iberia; two brothers, Jamie Piggott and Derek Piggott both of Iberia; maternal grandparents, Juanita and Earl Orr of Shelbina, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His mother and his paternal grandparents, James and Ruby Piggott, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Masonic service and funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Dennis Nichols will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Brent Piggott Memorial Fund.
