Carol Joan Ash, age 79, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born in Miller County on February 27, 1942, daughter of the late Sullivan and Dotsie (Burks) Crismon. On March 28, 1975, in Eldon, Carol married Merel Dutchman Ash, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2015.

She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Rodden Church of Christ in Brumley.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Jeremiah Goewey and Jessica Goewey both of Iberia; son-in-law, Timothy Goewey of Iberia; siblings, Ruby Ash and husband Wendell of Iberia, Ruth Freegard of Iberia, James Crismon of Vienna, and Mark Crismon of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Goewey.

Carol's wishes were to be cremated with a family memorial service at a later date.
