Catherine L. (Ray) Roth, age 75, of Eldon, died Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Ozark Care Center. She was born in Ellington on February 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Everett and Elizabeth (Melton) Ray. On December 29, 1953, in Brumley, she was married to Marvin Roth, who preceded her in death on November 6, 1992.

Those who survive her include: two daughters, Brenda Johns and husband Frankie of Olean and Tammy VanHooser and husband Danny of Eldon; one daughter-in-law, Juanita Lang of Eldon; one stepson, David Roth and wife Carolyn of St. Ann; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

One son, Jerry Lang, preceded her in death on July 23, 2005. Two infant daughters, three sisters, three brothers and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Brother Robert Roth will officiate. Interment will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
