Obituary
Cheryl A. George, age 68, of O'Fallon, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015, at her home. She was born in Cahokia, Illinois, on August 16, 1946, daughter of Kenneth and Dortha (Trammell) Marler. In 1965, in St. Louis, Cheryl married Joseph "Joe" George, who survives at the home.
In addition to her husband, Joe, she is also survived by three children, Jim George and wife Pandora of Manchester, Teri Bonjour of Park Hills, and Billie George of St. Louis; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Dortha Marler; and two sisters, Jeannie Burton and Sandy Bigham.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Marler and brother, Billy Marler.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 11 a.m., on Monday, June 15, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Jon Skiles will officiate. Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery near Brumley.
