Christina Barton, age 59, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born in Phelps County on May 19, 1966, daughter of the late Samuel and Shirley Jean (Phillips) Barton.

Christina greatly enjoyed being outside, with brush hogging being one of her favorite activities. She had a special love for horses and dogs, always finding joy in their company and caring for them with great affection.

She is survived by her siblings, Vicki Black, Valerie Rainey and spouse Bob, Belinda Barton, Frankie Katunar and spouse Cecil, Shelly Phillips-Leezy and spouse John, Samuel Barton, Brett Barton and spouse Sandy; and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Shirley Barton.

A graveside service will be held at a later.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
