Clark Dale Phillips, age 61, of Brumley, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. He was born on April 10, 1955, son of the late Clark Arzo and Nadine (Robinett) Phillips. On April 19, 1973, Clark married Linda Kay Witt, who preceded him on April 30, 2011.
Clark helped establish the Brumley Fire Department and served as a dedicated volunteer for several years. He worked as a carpenter and construction laborer for many years.
Clark is survived by two daughters, Twila Workman and husband Ralph and Marinda Prather and husband Mark both of Brumley; seven grandchildren, Brandon Workman, Lacey Workman, Taylor Nye and husband Joe, Madilynn Plemmons, Chris Prather, Stephanie Girdley and husband Andy, and Seth Prather and wife Brooke; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; and one brother, Bob Phillips and wife Deanna of Brumley.
In addition to his loving wife, Linda, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Pete, Bill, and Buck Phillips; and one sister, Judy Steen.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, March 28, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Ralph Byrd will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
