Clark Avyn Wall, age 83, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, surrounded by family at his home. He was born in Brumley, on January 2, 1932, son of the late Oliver and Marie (Hutsler) Wall. On May 18, 1956, in Jefferson City, Clark married Alice Pemberton, who survives at the home.

Clark served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After he was honorably discharged from the Army he worked as a self-employed contractor for over 50 years. He owned and operated Clark Wall Construction, building numerous houses, churches, and barns in Central Missouri.

After his retirement he spent many hours in his woodworking shop making pieces for people to enjoy.

Clark was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting turkey, fishing for crappie, playing softball, gardening, and watching Purple Martins. He also played the guitar and watched many sporting events, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. Clark was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ in Brumley.

In addition to his loving wife, Alice Wall, he is also survived by two children, Debbie Perkins and husband Steve and Mark Wall and wife Angie both of Iberia; five grandchildren, Amanda Farnham (Scott), Cody Wall (Stephanie), Luke Perkins (Nicky), Casey Wall, and Callie Ewers (Daniel); seven great-grandchildren, Allison, Clayton, Addison, Treyton, Coltin, Casen, Coyer, and baby Ewers on the way; one sister, Thelma Meredith of Iberia; and one brother, Larry Wall of Iberia.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 14, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
