Cody Nicholas Landreth, age 18, of St. Anthony, died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Lake Ozark due to an accidental drowning. He was born in Jefferson City on August 13, 1989, a son of Michael Steven and Melinda June (Limberg) Landreth.

Cody was employed by Kenny and Donna Dickneite at Dickneite Farms where he loved working for his second family, the Dickneites, and with his best friend, Taylor Dickneite. He also loved spending time and working on the Casper Farm with Bob and Tina and his good friend, Travis Minor. Cody attended the Cowboy Church in the Iberia area.

Those who survive him include: his parents, Michael and Melinda Landreth of the home; two brothers, Justin Michael Landreth and Dakota Robert Landreth both of St. Anthony; one sister, Blaze Chantalle Landreth of St. Anthony; his maternal grandfather, Delmar Limberg and wife Mary of Belle; thirteen aunts and uncles, Darla Schockley of St. James, April Valley, Tammy Limberg and Elvis Limberg all of Owensville, Fred "Dutch" Landreth of Eldon, Tom Landreth of Columbia, Lohman "Ozzie" Landreth of Forsyth, Joyce Landreth of St. Elizabeth, Doris Robinett of Brumley, Gerry Amlin of Hartville, Vera Woods of Tuscumbia, Becky Henson of Jefferson City, and Bob Landreth of Brumley; and his girlfriend, Amy Morgan of Wardsville.

His paternal grandparents, Fred Landreth and Dorothy Coleson and maternal grandmother, Betty Limberg, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church near Brumley. Gary Rowden, Virgil Dennis, and Joe Cargill will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
