Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Sons, age 62, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at her home.  She was born in Denver, Colorado, on February 17, 1961, daughter of the late Ed and Nona (Soulier) Weiss.

Cindy had a heart of gold with a great sense of humor, who enjoyed telling jokes, and never knew a stranger.  She had an unconditional love for her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Tucker, who were her pride and joy.

She is survived by two daughters, Katy (Shawn) Vaught and Janet (Kenny) Shelton; nine grandchildren, Makenna Shelton, Kinslee Shelton, Brayleigh Shelton, Rylan Bryant, Braden Bryant, Adeline Wilson, Brielle Schobey, Heather Verslues, and Hayden Vaught; three siblings, John Parker, Dan Parker, and Paula Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Warren Parker.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.  Interment will be held in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cindy Sons Memorial Fund.
