Obituary
Cynthia (Cruz) Speer, age 92, of Eldon, died Sunday, October 14, 2007, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Berwind, Colorado, on September 11, 1915, a daughter of the late Ysidro and Ruth (Jurado) Cruz. On September 7, 1990, in Reno, Nevada, she was married to Ralph C. Speer, who preceded her in death on June 20, 1992.
Those who survive her include: one son, Richard Reina and wife Sandy of Camdenton; one daughter, Judy Ahlefeld and husband Lester of Fallbrook, California; five grandchildren, Christopher Reina, James White, Cindy White, Randy White and Craig Netzke; four great grandchildren, James Steven, Jr., Dyllan, Rayan and Kristi White; two great grandchildren, Brenden and Zacharey and three brothers, Fred, Dan and Bill Cruz.
One daughter, Nina White and one grandson, Ricky White, also preceded her in death.
Her body has been cremated under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Private family services will be held at a later date.
