Dakota Lynn Will Veasman, age 28, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born in Sedalia on February 19, 1992, son of James Veasman and Sheri (Meade) Veasman. On September 10, 2015, Dakota married his high school sweetheart, Mikayla Lee Ann Wilson.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Clinton. Dakota was a wonderful father and husband always putting his family first. His wife and children were the light of his world and he was a blessing to them all. He will be missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, children, family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Mikayla Veasman, he is also survived by three daughters, Annabelle, Willow, and Kiowa Veasman all of the home; one son on the way and due in April. He is also survived by his father, Jim Veasman and wife Shelly of Dixon; mother, Sheri Veasman of Florida; four siblings, Savanna and wife Tasha, Cheyenne, Sheridan, and Montgomery; and numerous cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 3 p.m., on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Duncan Skiles officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Dakota Veasman Memorial Fund.
