Danny L. Pendleton, age 57, of Dixon, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006, near Jefferson City as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Granite City, Illinois, on September 4, 1949, son of Charles Leslie and Geraldine (Atwell) Pendleton. On April 25, 1970, in Eldon, he was married to Ethyl Faye Harrison, who survives at the home.
He had worked at ABB in Jefferson City for 33 years and three months and was a member of the UAW 2379 Local. He was a member of Victory Hill Baptist Church in Dixon, where he served as a Deacon.
Other survivors include two sons, Danny C. Pendleton and fiancée, Connie Wilcox of Eldon and John D. Pendleton of Dixon; one daughter, Holly A. Boggs and husband, Nathanial of Eldon; one grandchild, Bentley K. Boggs of Eldon; and five sisters, Helen Pendleton of Iberia, Lois Ingram of Belle, Hilda Bell of Sullivan and Deborah Ash and Laveta Pendleton both of Iberia.
His parents; two brothers; and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Dennis Nichols will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
