Danny Farris Plemmons, age 70, of Brumley, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.  He was born in Miller County on April 9, 1951, son of the late Farris and Jimmie Fae (Harris) Plemmons.  On June 10, 1972, in Iberia, Danny was united in marriage to Marilyn Jean Bartlett, who survives at their home.

Danny worked as a carpenter for many years and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and trading miscellaneous items with other collectors.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

In addition to his loving wife, Marilyn Plemmons, he is also survived by three children, Daniel Plemmons (Nikki Davis), Carli Ishmael (Robert), and Heather Matthews (Brad Bartsoff); grandchildren, Colin, Jackie, Shaylee, Logan, Jonathan, Trinity, Payton, Preston, and Brantley; great-grandchildren, Retta, Easton, Brodie, Paisley, and Addison; four sisters, Janie Jennings of Richland, Judy Flaugher of Iberia, Charlotte Stone of Crocker, and Jeanie Luttrell of Iberia; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Plemmons and Ricky Plemmons; one sister, Theresa Plemmons; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Overby.

Visitation will be held from 12 (noon) to 1 p.m.., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Monday, November 29, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Jimmy Moore officiating.
