Dave Fry, age 65, of Iberia, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Brumley on September 16, 1946, son of the late Melford and Maxine (DeVore) Fry.
Dave worked for the Kansas City Fire Department in Kansas for 15 years. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is survived by one daughter, Jami Pemberton and husband John of Iberia; one grandson, Derek Luttrell of Warrensburg; four granddaughters, Kaitlin Luttrell of Iberia, Kasey Pemberton of Iberia, Skylar Pemberton of Iberia, and Kelsay Pemberton of Waynesville; one uncle, Gary DeVore of Brumley; two aunts, Melva Plemmons and Colleen O'Dell both of Brumley; and several relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one infant brother, Danny Lane Fry and one infant daughter, Brandy Marie Fry.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Ralph Byrd will officiate. Interment with military honors under the direction of the Iberia VFW Post 6167 and American Legion Post 105 will be in Gott Cemetery in Ulman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home.
