David E. Davis, age 76, of Sunrise Beach, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Laurie Care Center. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, on November 1, 1936, son of the late Leslie and Mildred (Murphy) Davis.
David was a member of Pioneers of America. He was employed with Verizon as a computer analyzer.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Davis; one daughter Beth Ann Breem; and many other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, David E. Davis, Jr.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia, with a graveside service immediately following at Hawkins Cemetery near Brumley, on Thursday, July 11, 2013. Jonathan Chadbourn will officiate.
