David Wayne Davis, age 54, of Iberia, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Waynesville on June 16, 1962, son of Arthur James Davis and Wilma (Boulware) Davis Rowden. On June 1, 2013, in Pulaski County, David married Barbara Ellen Ballard, who survives at the home.
David never knew a stranger and would always help others in any way he could. He was a loving husband and father who cherished the time he spent with his family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to grill and host barbeques. David attended Good Will Church of Crocker.
In addition to his loving wife, Barbara, he is also survived by mother, Wilma Rowden of Iberia; three daughters, Jessica Bauer and husband Jeremy of Iberia, Cynthia Stafford and husband John of California, and Roxanna Davis of Iberia; two step-sons, Harley McFadden and fiancée Ethel of Troy and Cody McFadden and wife Ginger of New Jersey; six grandchildren; one brother, Randy Davis of Iberia; and several relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Davis and his brother, Larry Dale Davis.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 12, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be in Seaton Cemetery near Dixon.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
