Delbert "Donnie" Croney, age 61, of Eldon, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at his home. He was born in St. Louis County on February 11, 1947, a son of the late Delbert and Minnie (Goss) Croney. On December 23, 2007, in Eldon, he was married to Lorraine Baumhoer, who survives at the home.
Others who survive him include: one son, Dakota Collins of the home; three brothers, Jim Hankins and wife Sandy of O'Fallon, Larry Hankins and wife Donna of St. Louis and Ronnie Croney of Jefferson City and one sister, Connie Carroll and husband Ron of Tyler, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, with services immediately following at 8:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Bro. Ron Carroll will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Delbert Croney Memorial Fund.
