Delores L. Scarff, age 94, died on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, on January 11, 1927, daughter of the late Allen and Alice (Smith) Rich. On June 17, 1944, in Portland, Oregon, Delores was united in marriage to Glenn Edward Scarff, who preceded her in death on March 26, 2008.

Delores enjoyed spending the winter with her husband in Naples, Florida. She was a faithful member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach.

She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Franklin and husband Thomas of Ashdown, Arkansas, and Gloria Long and husband Joe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one son, Edward Allen Scarff and wife Barbara of Lake Ozark; eight grandchildren, Julie Trujillo, Jason See, Josh See, Jon See, Melinda Jewell, Allen Scarff, Belinda Bell, and Charles Bell; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Eloise Eland; two brothers, Harold Rich and Dwight Rich; and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Alice Rich and brother, Allen Rich Jr.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 2, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

A graveside service will be held at (12) noon on Tuesday, August 3, at Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.
