Delphia Bea Schupp, age 95, of Eldon, died Saturday, August 4, 2007, at her home. She was born in Pettis County on January 29, 1912, daughter of Waller Withers and Mary Rosetta (Wheeler) Settles. On November 12, 1933, in Morgan County, she was married to John Franklin Schupp, who preceded her in death in May 1972.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Alexander of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Georgia Louise Thering of Knob Noster, Sharon K. Watson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Lois Brown of Eldon; one son, John Schupp of Eldon; 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Helen D. Schupp and Shirley R. VanDyke; two grandsons; three brothers; and one sister.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Rev. Ronald Cain will officiate. Interment will be in Dooley Cemetery near Eldon.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
