Obituary
Delphia L. Wilson, age 97, of Granite City, Illinois, formerly of Iberia, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, at her home. She was born on March 17, 1911, in Miller County, daughter of Willis and Sarrah Ida (Blankenship) Humphrey. On May 4, 1941, in St. Charles, she married Grant Wilson, who preceded her in death on March 9, 2000.
She was a member of the Iberia First Christian Church.
She is survived by one sister, Lorene Farless and husband Delmar of Granite City, Illinois; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer Humphrey, Allen Humphrey, and Freeman Humphrey.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12 noon. with services immediately following on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Rekus Funeral Homes in Iberia. Bro. Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in the Iberia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Iberia First Christian Church.
