Diana Lynn (Rowden) Neal, age 58, of Vienna, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at her home. She was born in Crocker on February 22, 1953, daughter of the late Carl and Rosa (Dake) Rowden. On September 25, 1971, in the Faith Tabernacle Church, Diana was united in marriage to Larry Edmond Neal, who survives at the home.

Diana was a 1971 Graduate of Vienna High School. She was employed at the Department of Corrections and the Department of Health for many years. She enjoyed music and spending time with her grandchildren. Diana was a member and pastor's wife of the Mason Ridge Community Church. She was a mother to many and a friend to all.

She is also survived by three daughters, Angela Donnette Robertson and husband Steve of Brumley, Marinda Danielle Patton and husband Ross of Vienna, and Anita Lynn Harrison and husband Jason of Brumley; six grandchildren, Jebediah Robertson, Isaiah Robertson, Braeden Patton, Alayna Patton, Jaelyn Harrison, and Blake Harrison; two brothers, Rick Rowden of Meta and Kerry Rowden of Vienna; two sisters, Glenda Roark and Carla Maylee both of Imperial.

Visitation will be from 12 (noon) to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Interment will be in Brays Cemetery near Iberia.
