Dianna C. Schubert, age 71, of Meta, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia.  She was born in Meta on April 18, 1952, daughter of the late George Hubert and Elizabeth Marie (Schaffer) Scheulen.  On December 8, 1973, Dianna was united in marriage to Ronald Morgan Schubert, who preceded her in death on October 23, 2020.

Dianna was an active and devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Babbtown, where she faithfully taught Sunday School and served as secretary.  She was a volunteer for the Meta Ambulance District for many years and a lifelong member of LWML.  Dianna had an unconditional love for her family, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Gabriel (April) Schubert, Jeremiah (Nicole) Schubert, and Joshua Schubert; six grandchildren, Ashlee (Rob)Steffensen, Kaytlin Schubert, Jeremiah Schubert II, Kayla Schubert, Skye Schubert, and Kaleb Schubert; two great-granddaughters, Catalina and Lia; four siblings, Geraldine (Gerald) Berry, Linda (David) Pace, Richard Scheulen, and Melvin (Bev) Scheulen; brother-in-law, Neal Schubert; sister-in-law, Sherrie Scheulen; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by five siblings, Kenneth Scheulen, Genevieve Branch, Jeannette Ripka, Daniel Scheulen, and Raymond Scheulen; and her father and mother-in-law, Almon and Loretta Schubert.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Schubert with Pastor Gerald Scheperle officiating.  Interment will be held in St. John's Cemetery in Babbtown.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 1, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta.
