Dianne Elaine Johnson, age 70, of California, MO, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.  She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on June 19, 1952, daughter of the late Marion and Thelma (Scott) Walker.  On November 12, 1977, Dianne was united in marriage to Russell Johnson, who preceded her in death on January 19, 2001.

Dianne was a 1972 graduate of Federal Hocking High School in Ohio.  She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs, was an avid reader and was an unwavering fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.  She cherished time spent with her family and the beauty and warmth they brought to her life.

She is survived by her son, Ron Mills and wife Stacy; two daughters, Melissa Walker and Vicki Miller; nine grandchildren, Nathan Reid, Garrett Vaughn, Gaige Vaughn, Mariah Mills, Olivia Mills, Gabrial Mills, Cassy Miller, Lacey Miller, and Ashley Mae Miller; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Chloe, Jamie, and Sam; two siblings, Roger Walker and Lois Simmons; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Joan Ford, Judy Walker, Phillip Walker, Pat Walker, David Walker, Randy Walker, and Richard Walker.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
