Don Kurzejeski, age 62, of Brumley, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born in Canandaigua, New York, on October 2, 1951, son of the late George and Jacqueline (Rouse) Kurzejeski. On January 29, 2000, in Alton, Illinois, Don married Rhonda (Hemken) Nowlan, who survives at the home.
Don served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Dreamers 2 Trucking Company.
He is also survived by one son, Donald Kurzejeski Jr. and wife Lacey of Kansas City; one step-daughter, Jennifer Alford and husband Bryan of Alton, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Gracie and Brennan Kurzejeski of Kansas City.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Christopher's Fund.
