Donald Duncan, age 92, of Crocker, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at his home. He was born in Miller County on March 2, 1931, son of the late George Washington and Stella Mae (Keeth) Duncan. On October 21, 1949, Donald was united in marriage to Betty Lucille Harrison, who preceded him in death on July 1, 2014.
Donald had a successful career in construction, working alongside his son, Tim. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Don cherished the time spent with his family, creating countless memories. He took pleasure in attending church and was a devoted member of Goodwill Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Wall and Heather Lee; two sons, Mitchell Duncan, and Terry Duncan; five grandchildren, Parker Lee, Tarrah Vaughn, Dyllon Duncan, Ethan Duncan, and Melinda Henson; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Timothy Duncan; son-in-law, Kenny Wall; daughter-in-law, Alice Duncan; grandson, Christopher Henson; four brothers, Tennyson Duncan, Raymond Duncan, Oleph Duncan, and Noel Duncan; and four sisters, Juanita Wall, Lois DeMott, Thelma Cochran, and Vergie Pemberton.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Thursday, September 28, at New Hope Gospel Church, 30930 Highway U, Crocker, Missouri, with Robert McGuire officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
