Donald "Donnie" L. Kemper, age 73, of Iberia, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.  He was born in Sacramento, California, on January 3, 1951, son of the late Leonard and Juanita Kemper.

Donnie honorably served in the United States Army and was later employed with the Miller County Sherriff's Office as a deputy and later with the administration department.  His favorite pastime was fishing.

He is survived by three children, Shawn (Stacy) Kemper, Kierston Kemper, and Reagan Kemper; three grandchildren, Haley (Josh) Falter, Kassidy (Cody) Jenkins, and Landry Kemper; two great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Hansard; and host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
